History of Berimba Capoeira

Club Berimba Capoeira club was founded by Ramid Niftaliev in 2000. At that time, he was the founder of capoeira in Estonia and the founder of the Estonian Capoeira Federation.
“I first saw capoeira at the age of 15 – I saw the American feature film“ Only the Strongest ”with Mark Dacascas in the title role. I was very impressed and started looking for capoeira sections. The next trainings took place in Finland. My desire was so strong that I took up self-education. I read books, watched videos. I did judo, a little boxing, karate, and I had a basic knowledge of sports. But I fell in love with capoeira. Gradually, like-minded people joined me, a section arose where children came. We brought instructors who shared their knowledge with us. Gradually, all this moved to a serious level. Today there are already many students in “Berimba”, some students have opened their schools. Our task is not only to raise a strong athlete, but also to raise a good person. ”
