On January 16-17, 2022, the international capoeira championship “Budapest Open 2022” was held in the capital of Hungary. Athletes of our club also took part in this event. It was exciting to be in another country on the international stage again after Covid restrictions. Students were glad to see athletes from other countries again, because some of them are not only rivals, but also friends.
Of the nine athletes representing the Berimba club, five won prizes.
We are also proud that among them is the coach of our club, Nahid Aghazada, who took 1st place in his category.
